Strategy and Interventions are need based resource mapping planning and implementation, Mutual participation with the stakeholders, Undertake research followed by feasibility test for implementation and expansion, to develop specifically designed curriculum and conduct technical training for skill building through holistic approach, Create a consortium of various stakeholders to address specific problems and ensure awareness through mutual cooperation and support to promote innovation and demonstration through community participation, to create an effective model for replication.

Nodal Level CSC/Naini/12/Oct/2010

                  India is a great country which has 2.5% of world total land resource but feeds about 20% of the world’s population and because of our land resource only, today we are self dependent. This is the situation when human activities are neglecting the fertility and availability of the soil. In our India there are many activities are practiced which are directly affecting the agricultural land which thus makes negative impact on our agricultural production. Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Science – DU, Extension – Director, Prof. Nahar Singh stated as above in the Nodal Level of National Children’s Science Congress organized at Bethny Convent School, Allahabad speaking as the chief guest of the function. He also stated that if we will not utilize the land resource in the judicious and sustainable manner then we will have to face the drought conditions in future.  Simultaneously he appealed child scientists that children must channelize their emotions towards land’s utilization and do make efforts with plan while maintaining the fertility of the soil to increase it, availability of seeds, sustainable planning considering exploitation of water resource like think for water conservation considering future and then with the help of their guide teachers and scientists they may proceed for conservation of water.  The chief guest was accompanied with guest of honor Shri. R.S.Raghuvanshi (Special Invited Member NCSTC-Network, Delhi), Dr. S.K.Singh (Director – VICAS and also State Coordinator – NCSC, UP), Dr. Md. Masood (District Coordinator, Allahabad), Sister Oliva (Principal – Bethny Convent School) and Sister Shanti with former child scientist Swapnil Kumar Sharma (Federation of Former Child Scientists, INDIA) for the lighting of lamp ceremony in order to mark the start of the Nodal level of NCSC.

          The opening ceremony begins with a beautiful classical dance performed by the kids of Bethny Convent School followed by another stage performance by the enthusiastic young girls of the same institute and welcomed the Child Scientists, Teachers from different schools and colleges of Allahabad present over there.

             On this occasion Saint Mary Convent (Ghoorpur), Ewing Christian Public School, Maharshi Vidya Mandir, S.S. Convent School along with the child scientists from the host Bethny Convent School make their presence. There were 225 child scientists who make their presence through 45 projects presented on the theme: LAND RESOURES – “Use for prosperity and Save for Posterity”. At the Nodal Level NCSC, Allahabad in the evaluation team comprises of Dr. Md. Masood, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Dr. Ahsan Kamran, Dr. O.P.Gupta, Mr. Sanjay Srivastava and Mr. Swapnil Kumar Sharma and they selected 10 in the senior and 7 in the junior category to make their presence at the district level of NCSC,Allahabad which will be organized on 23rd Oct 2010 at MPVM Ganga Gurukulam School, Allahabad.
